Join us for the Back to School Event 2026! Gather your school supplies, grab your new school shoes and enjoy some delicious hotdogs and lunch as we celebrate the start of a fantastic school year together!

This event will feature:

  • FREE brand-name Back-to-School Shoes
  • School Supplies
  • Eye Exams
  • Premium Giveaways: Backpacks, Sports Duffels, Specialty Items
  • Raffle and Door Prizes
  • DJ and Live Entertainment
  • FREE lunch provided by local police departments
  • FREE Painting, Balloons and Activities for Children
  • Onsite Exhibitors including Lynchburg City Schools, Municipal Services
  • Workforce Programs, Day Care, Youth Sports and more

One Community One Voice provides essential support families and students - distributing approximately 500 backpacks filled with supplies and 800 pairs of shoes each year.

Event Purpose: Join us to equip families and youth for the coming school year. Bring information and materials to educate our community on the services you offer. We aim to provide details on essential services such as food, shelter, medical care, and clothing. Additionally, we will offer information on life skills education, vocational & career readiness, career opportunities, and career development.

Exhibitor Information: We invite your organization to participate by setting up an exhibitor table to distribute information, connect with the community, and network with other organizations. Please bring useful supplies or items to help people contact you.

Exhibitor Setup: Do not drive on The Dell. Use a cart or dolly for transporting exhibit materials. OCOV will have golf carts and volunteers to assist in setting up and take down.

Exhibitor Requirements:

  • Registration is mandatory
  • Bring your own table, chairs, and tent/canopy
  • Setup time: 9 AM - 10 AM on August 8, 2026
  • Signup Deadline: August 4, 2026
  • No fee or sponsorship required
