Mission Statement

  • We believe that academic completion with paid Work Study learning opportunities benefits society and the economy by improving family income, reducing reliance on public welfare and lowering incarceration, while developing a skilled workforce that employers greatly appreciate.

Vision Statement

  • In partnership with Central Virginia Community College (CVCC), Legacy College will be launching a new program titled “Pathway to Gainful Careers.” Randy Dunton, Executive Director of Legacy College says, “Our Pathway to Gainful Careers Program is designed to provide opportunity and advantage to students. The combination of accredited academics, life skills education and empowerment.

    This program will provide more resources and opportunities to succeed that are sometimes difficult to obtain with barriers like poverty. By partnering with CVCC, opportunities will be expanded across the greater Lynchburg area.
