Moving Mountains for Student Success
A Community Roundtable on Academic Support & Collaboration
Many organizations in our community are already working to help students succeed.
Tutoring programs, mentoring initiatives, after-school learning support, and youth development efforts are making a meaningful difference.
This roundtable is an opportunity to bring these efforts together.
Community leaders from education, nonprofits, universities, faith communities, and civic organizations are gathering to learn more about the academic priorities and objectives of Lynchburg City Schools and explore how community programs can align and collaborate for the greatest impact.
Through the Mountain Movers volunteer network and the Community Mountain Impact Framework (CMIF), this initiative seeks to strengthen coordination across our community so that together we can support student achievement more effectively.
